See all Date Night VIP rewards, what stays active after 38/38, and what happens to unused Drops and board items when the event timer reaches zero.
Date Night does not fully close after you complete Pawsome Progress, claim every VIP reward, and see the message saying the event is over. The reward track ends, but the merge board stays open until the timer runs out.
This is an important difference in how Date Night works. Completing the reward track does not end the merge event, so you can continue earning Drops, merging items, and collecting coins after all the main rewards are gone.
How Much Does the Date Night VIP Pass Cost?
Pawsome Progress has a free blue reward track and an optional pink VIP track. On our account, the VIP upgrade cost €4.99.
Paying for VIP does not unlock every premium reward immediately. Each reward slot is tied to a specific Date Night item. You must create that item on the merge board before you can claim the corresponding free and VIP rewards.
All Date Night VIP Rewards
Our completed VIP track included 13 rewards:
| Order | VIP Reward | What It Includes |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Two Bombs | Pre-level booster |
| 2 | Bronze Pack | 2 cards |
| 3 | 300 coins | Coins |
| 4 | Dynamite | Booster |
| 5 | Emerald Pack | 3 cards |
| 6 | Shovel | In-level tool |
| 7 | 500 coins | Coins |
| 8 | Dart | In-level tool |
| 9 | Lazurite Pack | 4 cards |
| 10 | Kettlebell | In-level tool |
| 11 | 1,500 coins | Coins |
| 12 | Blue mug with hearts | Item added to the Date Night merge board |
| 13 | Ruby Pack | 6 cards |
In total, the VIP track gave us 2,300 coins, four card packs, five boosters and tools, and one item for the Date Night board.
Which Card Packs Are Included?
- Bronze Pack: 2 cards
- Emerald Pack: 3 cards
- Lazurite Pack: 4 cards
- Ruby Pack: 6 cards
The Sapphire Pack is not one of the VIP rewards. It is included among the final Date Night rewards and comes from the Final Collection Chest after you reach 38/38.
What Does “The Event Is Over” Actually Mean?
Once every unlocked reward has been collected, each slot on the VIP track shows a green check mark. The game then displays this message:
“Congratulations! The event is over!”
Despite the wording, Date Night does not immediately disappear. The message only confirms that Pawsome Progress is complete and that there are no more free or VIP rewards to claim. The merge board remains available as long as there is time left on the event clock.
What Can You Do After Claiming Every VIP Reward?
Date Night returns to the merge board with the Collection still showing 38/38 and the stage indicator still showing Stage 4/4.
You can continue to:
- earn Drops by completing regular levels,
- add new items to the board,
- merge identical items,
- build higher-level coffee items,
- work on the other merge chains,
- merge and collect coin items.
Once you use your last Drop, the button changes to Play. Completing more levels gives you another supply of Drops, allowing you to return and continue merging the items on the Date Night board.
Do Levels Still Give Drops After 38/38?
Yes. Regular levels continue awarding new Drops after the Collection reaches 38/38 and every VIP reward has been claimed.
During our continued gameplay, we received and used six separate batches:
- 9 Drops
- 14 Drops
- 12 Drops
- 20 Drops
- 39 Drops
- 68 Drops
That adds up to at least 162 new Drops earned after the VIP track was finished. These were not unused Drops carried over from before completion. Regular levels continued supplying new ones until close to the end of the event timer.
Do You Get Another Prize for Continuing?
No additional reward track appears after Pawsome Progress is complete. Continuing does not unlock:
- a fifth stage,
- a second Collection,
- another Collection Chest,
- a new Pawsome Progress track,
- another set of VIP rewards,
- a repeatable grand prize.
The board still works, but new merges do not add progress to the completed Collection. The only direct benefit is the ability to create and collect a few extra coins.
Is It Worth Playing After You Finish?
If you are already playing regular levels, there is no harm in using the Drops you earn. Understanding how Cups, Drops, and Collections work together also makes it easier to decide whether continuing is worth the effort.
Playing extra levels solely for Date Night is a different matter. Once you have reached 38/38 and claimed every VIP reward, there is no second major prize waiting for you. A few coins from the merge board are unlikely to make up for the boosters, tools, or coins you may spend clearing more levels.
Final Verdict
Date Night does not fully end when you claim the last VIP reward. The reward track closes, but the merge board stays open, regular levels continue providing Drops, and merging remains available until the timer expires.
There is no second Collection, new stage, repeatable VIP track, or additional grand prize. If you are playing levels anyway, you can use the Drops and collect a few extra coins. Otherwise, reaching 38/38 and claiming every reward is the natural stopping point.
When the timer reaches zero, Date Night simply disappears from the game. There is no final reward, coin conversion, or compensation for unused Drops and items left on the board. Players can no longer return to the merge board, and nothing carries over to a future event.
