Frog Trail is a new Gardenscapes event that, so far, does not appear to have been released to all players. After checking 35 accounts from our team, it appeared on only one. This is a strong indication that it is currently a limited test or A/B test rather than a global release across all accounts.
This analysis is based exclusively on what has appeared inside the event and on observations from the account where it became available. It is not an official Playrix announcement, but rather a record of the information that has been revealed so far.
What Is Frog Trail?
Frog Trail is a seven-day event featuring a frog, a reward path, and Dragonfly collection. Players complete objectives connected to different event systems in Gardenscapes and earn Dragonflies to move the frog forward along the path.
The event combines first-try wins, Rainbow Blasts, cards, energy, coins, garden tasks, Blackberries, points, and special packs. In practice, it is an event that brings together many different game systems into a single weekly progression system.
How to Play Frog Trail
Playing Frog Trail is relatively straightforward. Players complete the objectives listed for each day and earn Dragonflies as rewards. Every Dragonfly collected helps move the frog forward along the reward path.
As the frog reaches specific checkpoints, additional rewards become available. The event combines many different Gardenscapes activities, including winning levels on the first try, creating Rainbow Blasts, collecting cards, spending energy, spending coins, gathering Blackberries, earning points, and completing garden tasks.
Unlike some older events, Frog Trail does not focus on a single activity. Progress comes from participating in multiple systems across the game. Another important detail is that progress appears to carry over between days, allowing actions completed earlier to contribute toward future objectives once they become available.
Because new days unlock gradually, the most effective approach is consistent daily participation rather than trying to complete everything in a single session.
Duration and Time Locking
Frog Trail lasts for seven days. The days are not all unlocked from the beginning. When a player selects a future day, a message such as "Reach Day 2 to unlock this task" appears.
This means that days unlock according to real time and not solely based on player progress. Even if a player completes many objectives quickly, the following days cannot be unlocked immediately.
What Does "Log In X Days" Mean?
The "Log in X days" objective does not function as a normal gameplay objective. Instead, it acts as a daily check-in and as the unlocking mechanism for the corresponding day.
On Day 1 it appears as Claim. On Day 2 it initially appeared as 1/2 and only became Claim once the second day opened. This indicates that players must physically reach the corresponding day of the event.
Day 1 Objectives and Rewards
| Requirement | Reward |
|---|---|
| Log in 1 day | 10 Dragonflies and 5 Minutes of Infinite Lives |

| Collect 23 cards | 20 Dragonflies and 50 Coins |
| Spend 750 energy | 15 Dragonflies and 1 Shovel |
In total, Day 1 awards 85 Dragonflies, 5 Minutes of Infinite Lives, 1 Rainbow Blast, 1 Card Pack, 50 Coins, and 1 Shovel.
Day 2 Objectives and Rewards
| Requirement | Reward |
|---|---|
| Log in 2 days | 10 Dragonflies and 5 Minutes of Infinite Lives |

In total, Day 2 awards 125 Dragonflies, 5 Minutes of Infinite Lives, 2 Bombs, 1 Card Pack, 50 Coins, and 1 Desk Fan.
Total Confirmed Dragonflies So Far
From the first two fully unlocked days, the following amounts have already been confirmed:
- Day 1: 85 Dragonflies
- Day 2: 125 Dragonflies
This means that at least 210 Dragonflies have already been confirmed from the first two days alone.
The first two days are therefore enough to pass the first checkpoint of 100 Dragonflies and move significantly toward the second checkpoint of 250 Dragonflies.

Progress Carries Over Between Days
One of the most important discoveries about Frog Trail is that progress carries over between days.
Examples already observed include:
- The same cards are counted simultaneously toward multiple days.
- Rainbow Blasts show progress for future days before those days unlock.
- Blackberries are counted across multiple days.
- Garden Tasks appear with progress already recorded.
- Coins spent seem to count toward more than one objective.
This indicates that Frog Trail uses a shared progression system rather than resetting progress at the start of each day.
The Frog Path
The frog advances through the Dragonflies collected by the player. Dragonflies are the main progression currency of the event.
The path includes five major checkpoints:
- 100 Dragonflies
- 250 Dragonflies
- 585 Dragonflies
- 825 Dragonflies
- 1055 Dragonflies
These numbers do not represent levels or days. They are milestone targets that unlock the major rewards along the path.
Frog Path Rewards
| Checkpoint | Reward |
|---|---|
| 100 Dragonflies | 2 Bombs and 1 Shovel |
| 250 Dragonflies | 3-Card Pack and 1 Desk Fan |
| 585 Dragonflies | 300 Coins and 1 Rainbow Blast |
| 825 Dragonflies | 4-Card Pack, 1 Dart, and 1 Kettlebell |
| 1055 Dragonflies | 6-Card Pack, 800 Coins, 1 Dynamite, and 1 Desk Fan |
Total Path Rewards
- 2 Bombs
- 1 Shovel
- 2 Desk Fans
- 1 Rainbow Blast
- 1 Dart
- 1 Kettlebell
- 1 Dynamite
- 1100 Coins
- 3-Card Pack
- 4-Card Pack
- 6-Card Pack
What Is the Total Value of the Revealed Rewards So Far?
If we combine all rewards confirmed so far from the first two days of Frog Trail and from the frog path itself, the following rewards have been revealed:
- 210 Dragonflies
- 10 Minutes of Infinite Lives
- 6 Bombs
- 2 Shovels
- 2 Rainbow Blasts
- 3 Desk Fans
- 1 Dart
- 1 Kettlebell
- 1 Dynamite
- 1250 Coins
- 2 Card Packs from daily objectives
- 1 3-Card Pack
- 1 4-Card Pack
- 1 6-Card Pack
These rewards include only what has been confirmed and revealed so far. They do not include the rewards from Day 3 through Day 7, which remain locked. This means the overall value of Frog Trail is expected to become significantly higher once all days are revealed.
The Automatic 50 Dragonfly Progress Bonus
An especially interesting observation is that when the frog reaches a checkpoint, the next section of the path appears to begin with 50 Dragonflies of progress already filled.
This means players do not start from absolute zero when moving into a new section of the reward path.
The Most Controversial Objective
Day 3 includes the objective "Make an in-app purchase."
This means the event requires a purchase made with real money inside the game.
At this stage it is not known whether the purchase is required to complete the entire Frog Trail or simply serves as an additional way to earn Dragonflies and rewards. However, the objective clearly appears within the event, continuing the same concern raised during earlier Frog Trail testing.
What Happens After Frog Trail Ends?
At the moment it is unknown what event will appear after Frog Trail ends.
On the account where Frog Trail appeared, Hit the Target did not appear. However, it is still impossible to say with certainty whether Frog Trail temporarily replaces Hit the Target, Gardening Duties, or another event.
This question can only be answered once the full seven-day event cycle has been completed.
This Article Will Be Updated Daily
As additional Frog Trail days become unlocked, this article will be updated with the exact rewards for each objective.
So far, Day 1 and Day 2 rewards have been fully documented. Days 3 through 7 remain locked and will be added in detail once revealed.

Why Does This Event Appear to Be So Demanding?
Although Playrix has not provided an official explanation for Frog Trail, the objectives revealed so far suggest that the event has been designed differently from many traditional weekly events. Instead of focusing on a single activity, it connects nearly every major game system into one unified progression path.
The requirements include levels, Rainbow Blasts, cards, packs, energy, Blackberries, coins, and garden tasks. This means players cannot progress efficiently by participating in only one part of the game. Instead, Frog Trail appears designed to encourage daily participation across as many events and systems as possible.
One possible interpretation is that Frog Trail was created to increase overall activity among highly engaged players and serve as a central event linking many other systems together. The more Gardenscapes systems a player uses, the greater their potential progress along the frog path.
The fact that days unlock gradually and that progress carries from one day to another also suggests that the event was designed for consistent participation throughout the entire week rather than rapid completion within a few hours.
How Demanding Does Frog Trail Appear to Be and Who Is It For?
Based on everything revealed so far, Frog Trail appears to be one of the most demanding weekly events ever introduced in Gardenscapes. The later days include objectives such as 170 first-try wins, 900 Rainbow Blasts, 40500 Blackberries, 7200 energy, 7200 coins, and more than 200 cards. Even with shared progression between days, these requirements remain extremely high.
The fact that the event appeared on only one out of 35 tested accounts also suggests that Playrix may currently be evaluating player interest and behavior among specific groups before deciding whether to expand the event to a larger audience.
The event does not appear to be designed primarily for casual players who log in for only a few minutes each day. Instead, it seems targeted toward highly active players, players who participate in most daily events, those who collect large numbers of cards, and players who regularly complete levels on their first attempt.
The presence of objectives involving cards, packs, energy, Blackberries, garden tasks, and even an in-app purchase shows that Frog Trail attempts to connect nearly every major game system into a single event. This makes it especially interesting for dedicated players but potentially very difficult for more relaxed or occasional players.
How Frog Trail Connects to Chained Reward Events
Frog Trail does not behave exactly like a classic sale or a simple weekly event, but its structure has some similarities with chained reward events because the player keeps moving through a sequence of rewards that becomes more valuable only after enough progress has been collected.
The difference is that Frog Trail connects this progression to daily objectives, timed unlocking, Dragonflies, and several separate game systems at once. That makes it more complex than older reward chains and much more demanding for players who want to reach the final checkpoint.
First Documented Conclusion
Frog Trail is one of the most interesting experimental events to appear in Gardenscapes in recent memory. It combines multiple game systems, uses shared progression between days, includes time-based locks, and introduces a completely different progression structure through Dragonflies and the frog path.
Until the full seven-day cycle is completed, several questions remain unanswered. However, the information already revealed suggests that Frog Trail is one of the most ambitious event tests introduced in Gardenscapes so far.
