Gardenscapes Levels 20,246–20,295 reviewed with difficulty breakdown, Lighthouse strategy, the new Magic Hat element, extra move costs, rewards, and complete gameplay.
The new Gardenscapes levels from 20,246 through 20,295 were released on Monday, August 10, 2026. Overall, this week's batch left us with a positive impression, and we were able to make our way through the new levels while still maintaining a small advantage.
There were, however, a few specific levels that deserved extra attention. The biggest development of the week was the appearance of the new Magic Hat element in Level 20,260. Level 20,266 was also interesting because of the careful move management required to deal with the Lighthouse, while a few other levels included small tricks that could make a noticeable difference.
Level 20,266 – Lighthouse
Level 20,266 is one of the stages this week where you need to be particularly careful with your moves because of the Lighthouse.
The main problem usually appears toward the end of the level. If too many moves have been spent earlier without making enough progress, you may reach the Lighthouse without enough moves left to remove all of its colors and complete the objective.
That is why it is important to manage your moves carefully from the very beginning so that you reach the Lighthouse with enough moves still available. The level can seem to be progressing normally, but the final colors on the Lighthouse are what can ultimately leave you without enough moves to finish.
Difficulty Breakdown
The 50 new levels include:
- 10 Hard Levels
- 5 Super Hard Levels
- 5 One Shot Levels
Although the update contains several officially difficult levels, the challenge is not limited to those categories. Even some standard levels can become surprisingly demanding if the board does not open up well during the first few moves.
Level 20,260 – Magic Hat
The biggest new development of the entire week appears in Level 20,260, where players encounter the Magic Hat.
The Magic Hat needs to receive three hits to produce a Hot-Air Balloon. The hits can come from matches made next to the hat or from power-ups that hit it. You can see how the Magic Hat works in detail. Its multi-stage behavior also has some noticeable similarities to Candy.
After the third hit, the Magic Hat produces a Hot-Air Balloon. The balloon then has to be cleared from the board as part of the level objective.
Level 20,260 deserves extra attention because this is the first time players encounter the Magic Hat mechanic in this batch. Unlike a familiar element, the first attempt also becomes an introduction to how the hat reacts to hits, produces Hot-Air Balloons, and affects the way moves need to be planned.
Magic Hat Event and BlackBerry Treasure
Our overall experience with these levels was also influenced by the advantages we had available while playing.
We played with a fully activated Magic Hat event, while also having rewards available from BlackBerry Treasure. The event rewards gave us additional resources and helped keep our progress through the new levels relatively smooth.
Whenever necessary, we also used available boosters and tools. For that reason, our assessment of the difficulty reflects our own specific experience and does not mean that a player without the same advantages will get through the levels just as easily.
Four Extra Moves Purchases
Throughout the entire batch, we purchased the five-extra-moves package a total of four times.
Each purchase cost 900 gold coins, bringing the total cost to 3,600 coins.
Considering that this was a full 50-level release, that was a relatively small expense and is another indication that this week's batch did not contain many levels that became serious roadblocks.

What Stood Out in Levels 20,246–20,295
If we had to pick the most important points from this week's release, Level 20,260 clearly comes first because of the appearance of the new Magic Hat, continuing the recent wave of new Gardenscapes elements introduced over the past month.
Level 20,266, with the Lighthouse, is another stage that deserves extra attention, while small details in the boards of several other levels can also make a real difference in how you approach them.
Overall, Gardenscapes Levels 20,246–20,295 stand out mainly because of these smaller gameplay details and, above all, because of the first appearance of the Magic Hat element in this week's batch.
In general, if you pay attention from the beginning to what each level is asking you to do, you can get through this week's new levels 20,246–20,295 and still come out slightly ahead.
If you want to compare this batch with the previous weekly release, the previous 50-level update covers Gardenscapes Levels 20,196–20,245.
