Analysis of Gardenscapes Levels 20.446–20.495, including difficulty, elements, boosters, tools, coins, events, and the cost of keeping a winning streak alive.

The 50 new Gardenscapes levels, from Level 20.446 through Level 20.495, were noticeably more manageable than the previous week’s release. Levels labeled Hard or Super Hard were still challenging, but this time their difficulty matched their labels. Most Normal levels could be cleared with careful play, without constantly feeling as though the board was working against the player.

No new element appeared in these 50 levels. Instead, this week’s batch featured a wide range of familiar mechanics, giving the boards plenty of variety without adding a new learning curve.

Elements That Appeared

Hedgehog,Hedge, Tackle Boxes, Slot Machine, Colored Light Bulbs, Bottle, Brick Wall, Garden Shelf, Safe, Colored Dynamite, Snail, Watermelon Seedbed, Ice, Golf, Shooting Range, Clouds, Bow Tie, Cave, Cooler, Lighthouse, Conveyor, Bag of Leaves, Shelf with Keys, Crystal,Magic Hat, Fridge, Awning, Vase Generator, Bags of Food, and Bonus Box.

Although the levels included many different mechanics, there was no new element that changed how the boards needed to be approached.

The Normal Levels Actually Felt Normal

The biggest difference from the previous week was the difficulty of the regular levels. This time, when a level was not labeled Hard or Super Hard, it usually played like a Normal level.

Across the 50 new levels, there were 10 Hard Levels, 5 Super Hard Levels, and 5 One Shot Levels. The labeled levels were genuinely challenging, but they were about as difficult as their labels suggested.

With smart move management and careful attention to the board, most Normal levels could be completed without using an excessive number of resources. The regular levels behaved as expected this time, unlike Levels 20.414 and 20.424 from the previous week. Neither had a high-difficulty label, yet both were far more challenging than a Normal level should have been. Only one level in the entire batch was completed on the final available move.

Keeping the Streak Alive Still Comes at a Cost

The fact that this week was easier does not mean all 50 levels could be completed quickly without boosters, tools, or coins.

The goal was to keep the winning streak alive and clear every level on the first attempt. That required purchasing extra moves in some cases and using a substantial number of boosters and tools throughout the run.

Tools have become much more important in the endgame. If the only goal is to clear a level, you can accept an occasional loss and try again. But if you want to protect the streak and continue without losing, tools become an essential part of the strategy.

Coins: Roughly as Many Earned as Spent

Despite buying extra moves, the overall coin balance remained nearly even. The coins spent to save certain attempts were roughly equal to those earned from completing the 50 new levels and playing the events running at the same time.

That does not mean the batch came without a cost. It does mean that this week did not cause the significant net coin loss that can happen during a true killer week.

The Events Made a Big Difference

The 50 new levels were played alongside Electric Showdown, Gnome Treasure, Hit the Target, and Swamp. Rewards from these events helped replace some of the boosters and tools used during the run.

In some of the events, the resources spent and the rewards earned came close to balancing each other out. Without those events, the overall use of boosters and tools would have been noticeably higher.

The Real Choice Was Speed or Saving Resources

This week once again highlighted something that is becoming increasingly clear at high levels: players cannot always save as many resources as possible while also completing levels as quickly as possible.

If the priority had been saving boosters, tools, and coins, the streak probably would have ended, and several levels would have required multiple attempts. Based on the overall difficulty of the batch, completing all 50 levels would likely have taken at least two more days.

The resources were not used because the levels were excessively difficult. They were used because the goal was to complete the entire weekly batch quickly, clear each level on the first attempt whenever possible, and keep the streak alive.

An Early Sign of a Recurring Difficulty Pattern

This calmer release once again follows a pattern observed over the past several months: an unusually difficult week is usually followed by two or three more manageable weekly batches. The contrast becomes even clearer when this release is compared with the previous week, when Levels 20.396–20.445 produced a much more difficult and unpredictable run.

Comparing recent weekly releases suggests that this pattern may also be connected to other factors, including the introduction of new elements, the number of coins, boosters, and tools used, and how often extra moves need to be purchased.

Conclusion

Levels 20.446–20.495 delivered a clearly calmer week. No new element appeared, the Hard and Super Hard levels were about as difficult as their labels suggested, and most Normal levels could be cleared with careful play.

Keeping the streak alive still came at a cost. Boosters, tools, and extra moves were used, but rewards from the events helped replace a significant portion of those resources. By the end of the batch, roughly as many coins had been earned as spent.

The most important finding from this week is not simply that the levels were easier. There is a major difference between clearing 50 levels and clearing all 50 quickly, on the first attempt, without letting the streak end.
