Playrix Now Limits Frequent Team Switching in Gardenscapes

Official Gardenscapes team notice explaining restrictions on frequent team switching, team event rewards, rejoining teams, life exchanges, and suspicious activity.

Playrix has now placed limits on players who switch between multiple teams within the same day.

According to the official Gardenscapes support page, if a player changes teams too many times in a short period, they may receive a temporary team restriction.

Playrix explains that this measure was introduced to protect teams from suspicious activity. The limit resets daily, and the restriction is temporary.

Frequent Team Hopping Now Has a Limit

Players are still free to leave their current team and move between teams. Changing teams itself has not been banned.

What can now trigger a restriction is repeated team switching within the same day.

Playrix does not publicly state exactly how many team changes are allowed before the limit is reached.

Could This Be Related to the 50 Garden Pass Coins?

This restriction is particularly interesting because some players have been jumping from one team to another looking for rewards that appear when a team member purchases the Garden Pass.

When a player purchases the Garden Pass, their teammates can collect 50 coins. This has led some players to move from team to team in search of available Garden Pass rewards.

However, Playrix has not announced that the restriction was introduced specifically to stop this practice. The company only states that limiting excessive team switching is intended to protect teams from suspicious activity.

What Changes in Practice?

For a player who changes teams occasionally, there does not appear to be any major change.

But players who repeatedly join and leave several teams within the same day, including those looking for Garden Pass rewards, now risk triggering a temporary team restriction that may prevent them from continuing to switch teams.

In other words, Playrix still allows normal team changes, but it is putting limits on excessive team hopping.
