Discover how Jam works as a spreading element in Gardenscapes, how it expands across the board, and what you need to complete the goal.
The Spreading Goals category features a very different type of Gardenscapes mechanic: instead of trying to clear an element from the board, the player needs to spread it.
Jam is the element in this category. It starts by covering only a small part of the board, and the goal is to keep spreading it until it covers the entire required area.

Jam
Jam works differently from most obstacles in Gardenscapes. The goal here is not to remove it, but to spread it across the board.
At the beginning of the level, Jam covers only a small part of the board. By making Match-3 combinations and using Power-Ups, the player can gradually spread it to more tiles.
Every new tile covered with Jam brings the player closer to completing the objective. The process continues until the entire required area of the board is covered.
If the player runs out of moves before the Jam has spread to every tile required by the level, the objective remains incomplete and the level is lost.
Jam is one of the newer Gardenscapes elements that has been introduced in recent updates.
