A second Gardenscapes account is often used as a support team profile. It allows sending lives, participating in events and helping with activities such as team chest and bowling without affecting the main garden.
On PC however, the Microsoft Store version does not allow a second player profile. Even if a new Windows user or a new email is created, the game loads the same garden because progress is tied to the device Xbox profile.
The solution is to create a second virtual device inside the PC. Before that, two separate accounts are required.
A secondary account changes how you approach levels because you can experiment without pressure and better understand what strategic thinking in Gardenscapes really means.
Step 1: Create a second email
Create a new Gmail account that will be used exclusively for the second player. Do not use your main email because progress will sync.
Step 2: Create a second Windows user
On the computer create a new local user from Settings → Accounts → Other users → Add user.
When the screen asks for email, do not enter an address. Select “I don’t have this person’s sign-in information” and then “Add a user without a Microsoft account”.
If you sign in with a Microsoft account, the computer will synchronize data and a separate environment will not be created.
Avoid:
- child accounts
- using the main email
- converting to an online Microsoft account
This user is only used during setup and is not needed for everyday use.
What is BlueStacks
BlueStacks is a program that creates a normal Android phone inside the computer. In practice it appears as a tablet and can run Play Store apps just like a real phone.
The game does not detect that it runs on PC and recognizes it as a new device. This creates separate progress without affecting the main account.
In simple terms, the computer now acts as two different devices: the Windows version and a virtual phone.
Step 3: Install Android emulator
An Android emulator is software that creates a virtual mobile device inside the computer and runs Play Store apps like a normal device.
Gardenscapes recognizes it as a different phone and therefore creates a new profile without affecting the main garden.
Download BlueStacks from the official BlueStacks website and install it. At first launch a tablet-like interface with App Center and System Apps will appear.
Step 4: Google login
Open System Apps → Play Store inside BlueStacks and sign in using the second Gmail.
- accept everything
- if checking info appears, wait
- if suggestions appear, choose not now
Step 5: Install the game
Search for Gardenscapes in the BlueStacks Play Store and install the game (not from Microsoft Store). The game starts from the beginning because it detects a new device, so you effectively apply everything relevant to the first levels of the game.
Step 6: Automatic progress saving
No extra login inside the game is required. Gardenscapes automatically saves progress to the Google account used in the BlueStacks Play Store.
If you later want to move the second garden to another device, you can optionally connect a Playrix account from settings, avoiding the common beginner mistakes that cause progress loss.
Is it safe?
Using an emulator does not modify the game and works like a normal second device. Gardenscapes stores progress in the cloud and allows login from multiple platforms.
- use a separate email
- do not share the same account
- do not use modified apps
The emulator effectively works as a second phone inside the computer.
How to practically use both profiles
The computer now behaves like two devices.
- Windows version → main garden
- BlueStacks → second player
No Windows user switching is required anymore.
- Open Gardenscapes normally for the main account
- Open BlueStacks for the second account
Both versions can run simultaneously from the same Windows user without affecting each other and there is no need to log again into the additional user created during setup.
Final result
- Windows version → primary garden
- BlueStacks → helper garden / new player
The computer functions as two different devices and the accounts remain completely separate.
