Something Doesn't Add Up About the New Gardenscapes Events Calendar

Why doesn't the official Gardenscapes August events calendar match what players actually see? We compared multiple accounts and found surprising differences.

The official Gardenscapes Facebook page recently published its August events calendar, outlining the game's main activities and the days they are expected to appear throughout the month.

At first glance, everything looks straightforward. However, after comparing the calendar with what actually appeared in the game, we found that the situation is much more complicated than it seems.

The biggest takeaway is not whether the calendar itself contains mistakes. Instead, it appears that different player accounts are receiving different events. That suggests the official calendar should probably be viewed as a general roadmap rather than a schedule that applies equally to every player.

What the Official Calendar Shows

According to the image published by Playrix, August includes:

  • Garden Pass
  • Fair Collection
  • Hurricane Havoc – New Expedition
  • Fancy Feathers
  • Garden Duties every Friday
  • New Levels every Thursday
  • Hit the Target every Monday

However, when we compared that schedule with what actually appeared inside the game, we noticed several interesting differences. As we explained in our article about why Gardenscapes events are not the same for every player, event availability can vary significantly between accounts.

👀 Worth Knowing

New Levels Were Released on Monday

The official calendar states that new levels are released every Thursday.

In reality, the latest batch of levels became available on Monday, August 3, 2026. At least for this week's release, the actual launch day did not match the one shown on the official calendar.

We do not know whether this was a last-minute scheduling change, an outdated calendar that was never updated, or a rollout that varies by region.

Hit the Target Was Missing From Some Accounts

The calendar also indicates that Hit the Target appears every Monday.

However, the event was not available on several accounts we checked. Players who are unfamiliar with this event can also find details about how Hit the Target works. That does not necessarily mean it was missing for everyone, since Playrix has long used gradual rollouts, A/B testing, and account-specific event distribution.

Gnome Treasure Appeared Even Though It Wasn't Listed

At the same time, Gnome Treasure launched as expected. This Monday event was available even though it does not appear anywhere on the official August calendar.

That suggests the published image does not include every weekly event that players may actually receive.

Electric Showdown Wasn't the Same for Everyone

One of the most interesting differences involved Electric Showdown.

On some accounts that were already at the highest available level in the game, the event never appeared. On other accounts, however, Electric Showdown was available without any issues.

This observation shows that even the same event may be distributed differently depending on the player's account.

There Is No Longer One Universal Schedule

When we put all of these observations together, a clear pattern begins to emerge.

  • New levels were released on Monday, while the calendar says Thursday.
  • Hit the Target appears on the calendar but was missing from some accounts.
  • Gnome Treasure appeared normally despite not being listed.
  • Electric Showdown was available only on certain accounts.

Based on these findings, we cannot say that the official calendar is wrong. At the same time, we also cannot assume that it reflects exactly what every player will see.

Everything points to different accounts receiving different events, at different times, or through different rollout schedules.

Conclusion

The official Playrix calendar appears to present the month's overall plan rather than the exact schedule that every individual player will experience.

Our testing showed noticeable differences between multiple accounts on the very same day, both in the events that were available and in when they appeared. It also shows how frequently Playrix adjusts and tests different parts of the game before rolling them out more widely, much like its long-term strategy for Gardenscapes.

If you noticed something different on your own account, let us know in the comments which events you received today. The more reports we collect from players in different countries and at different stages of the game, the better we can understand how Gardenscapes content is actually being rolled out.
