Gardenscapes Disco Party is a limited test offer with a free first Dance, €0.99 paid attempts, changing odds, and randomized rewards.
Playrix is testing a new Gardenscapes offer called Disco Party on selected accounts. It starts with one free Dance, then gives players the option to pay €0.99 for additional attempts at a pool of rewards with clearly displayed odds.
We recorded Disco Party on September 20, 2026, after it appeared on only some of the Gardenscapes accounts we checked. That kind of account-to-account variation is nothing new in Gardenscapes, where players can receive different features, rewards, and event versions at the same time. Everything we have seen so far points to a limited test rather than a worldwide release.
How Disco Party Works
When the offer first appeared on our account, the button simply said “Dance!”. There was no price attached to the first attempt. We used it and received 100 coins.
Once the reward was collected, it was marked with a green check mark and the button changed to:
Dance for €0.99
From that point on, another Dance required a real-money purchase. Unlike a normal bundle, the player was not buying a guaranteed set of coins or boosters. The payment bought another attempt at one of the rewards still available on the screen.
Disco Party runs for three days, giving players a limited window to use the free first Dance and decide whether to continue with paid attempts.
The Game Shows the Reward Odds
Disco Party includes a Reward Probabilities screen. After the free 100-coin reward had been collected, our account showed the following chances:
| Reward | Chance |
|---|---|
| 1,000 coins | 90.02% |
| Three rewards | 2.06% each |
| Three rarer rewards | 0.91% each |
| Three high-tier rewards | 0.33% each |
| Rarest reward | 0.08% |
The displayed probabilities add up to 100%. More importantly, the game states:
“The chance of winning each reward changes after each dance!”
So the odds are not fixed for the entire session. As rewards leave the pool, the chances for the remaining prizes change.
How It Differs From a Regular Gardenscapes Offer
A standard shop offer tells players exactly what they will receive before they pay. Disco Party works differently: the price and possible prizes are visible, but the result of the next Dance is not guaranteed.
Gardenscapes has used offers that combined paid stages with free rewards before, but those promotions generally showed what was waiting at each step. Disco Party keeps the free-to-paid progression while adding a random result.
The €0.99 price also makes the purchase feel different from a larger bundle. Instead of deciding whether to spend several dollars at once, the player is deciding whether one more attempt is worth €0.99.
Randomized Purchases Are Already Mentioned by Apple
The official Gardenscapes App Store listing states that some in-game elements, including randomized items, can be purchased for real money. Apple also lists Loot Boxes among the game's content descriptors.
That description does not specifically explain Disco Party, but it confirms that randomized paid items are already part of the way Gardenscapes is presented on the App Store.
Disco Party Has Already Appeared in Fishdom
The name itself is not new to Playrix. Fishdom App Store listings already include several in-app purchases called Disco Party, with different price points depending on the regional store.
The listings do not reveal whether Fishdom uses the same reward system, so we cannot say the two versions work identically. What they do show is that Playrix has already used the Disco Party name for paid content in another match-3 game.
Why Some Players Do Not Have It
Playrix has previously acknowledged that different groups of players can receive different events or features during testing. We also found no public announcement introducing Disco Party as a global Gardenscapes feature.
That means an account without Disco Party is not necessarily missing an update or experiencing a bug. At this stage, selective availability is the clearest sign that Playrix is testing the offer with only part of the player base.
What Playrix Could Be Measuring
Playrix has not explained the purpose of the test, so anything about its internal goals would be speculation. The structure of the offer, however, makes several behaviors easy to track:
- How many players use the free Dance.
- How many continue once the price becomes €0.99.
- How many paid attempts they make before stopping.
- Whether certain rewards make players more or less likely to continue.
- How players respond as the odds change.

Why the Free First Dance Matters
The free attempt gives players a chance to experience the full mechanic before they are asked to pay. By the time the €0.99 button appears, they have already tapped Dance, watched the animation, received a prize, and seen the reward pool change.
The next step therefore feels less like starting a new purchase and more like continuing something already in progress. That fits with the broader question of what can make a small in-game purchase feel reasonable in the moment. Disco Party adds the possibility that the next attempt could land one of the much rarer prizes.
Will Disco Party Be Released to Everyone?
There is no way to know yet. A test like this can lead to a wider rollout, but Playrix could also change the price, rewards, probabilities, or even remove the feature entirely.
The numbers documented here should therefore be treated as a record of the version we saw on September 20, 2026, not as permanent Disco Party rules.
Conclusion
Disco Party introduces a different kind of purchase to Gardenscapes. The version we recorded began with a free Dance that awarded 100 coins, followed by €0.99 attempts at a changing pool of rewards.
The game openly displays the odds, including a 90.02% chance for the 1,000-coin reward and just 0.08% for the rarest prize shown after the first Dance.
For now, the offer is appearing only on selected accounts. If it reaches more players, the most useful comparison will be whether Playrix keeps the same price, rewards, and probabilities or tests different versions with different groups.
