Complete list of Gardenscapes level unlocks, showing when teams, events, Garden Pass, expeditions, Double Rainbow, and Golden Cup become available.
In Gardenscapes, the game does not open everything from the beginning. Instead, every few levels, new systems, events, and mechanics appear and change the way you play. For a new player, this creates the feeling that the game is constantly transforming.
This list shows, in level order, when the main features appear, so you can understand when Gardenscapes moves from a simple match-3 game into a much more complex gameplay system. As the game expands, different players may unlock and experience events differently.
Level 21 — Teams Unlock
At this point, the player can join a team. From here onward, the game gains a social layer and starts connecting progress with cooperation.
Level 21 — Bowling Event,Team Chest
The first team event appears almost immediately after teams unlock. The game does not simply give you a team. It pushes you to use it.
You have to collect a set number of keys before the event ends. Each event goal is based on how well the team performed in the previous Team Chest event.
Level 30 — Helicopter Dash
You need to complete 15 match-3 levels faster than your opponents to earn rewards.
Level 34 — Magic Hats
This is where the first temporary events start appearing. They change the rhythm of the game and show that Gardenscapes is not only about levels.
Level 35 — Garden Pass
The progression reward system opens here. From this point onward, you are not only playing to beat levels but also to move forward on a reward track through systems such as the Garden Pass Bonus Bank.
Level 37 — Golfmaster & Electric Showdown
At this point, two different events appear at the same time. The game starts loading multiple systems together, which changes how you manage your time and resources.
Level 42 — Card Collection & Expeditions (Treasure Map)
Card collections and expeditions appear here. The game clearly gains an economy layer, because you are no longer chasing only wins but also collections and event progress.
From this point onward, rewards are directly connected to how you participate in events, not only to whether you beat a difficult level.
Level 43 — Gnome Treasure
The game continues adding events back-to-back. The player now always has something to chase beyond the levels themselves, including activities such as Gnome Treasure.
Level 66 — Swap Quest
Side objectives appear and push you to play with a different goal from simply completing a level.
Level 101 — Hit the Target, Gardening Duties
Events become more organized and more demanding. From this point onward, the game strongly influences how and when you play.
Level 291 — Double Rainbow
The combination of two rainbows clears the board twice. This drastically changes the value of combos and the way you read the board.
Understanding mechanics like this is directly connected to how you read a Gardenscapes level before making the first move and whether you can predict which combo has real impact.
The Rainbow Appears Early
The Rainbow Blast unlocks very early, but its real power becomes clear only when you start understanding when to save it and when to combine it.
Golden Cup — Endgame System
The Golden Cup does not appear at a specific level. It activates only when you reach the end of the available levels.
This means it is not part of normal progression. It is a separate mode for players who have completed the main game.
What This Progression Means for a New Player
At the beginning, the game is simple. You learn the board and the basic mechanics.
Soon after, you join a team and start seeing events.
Then, systems such as passes, collections, and expeditions appear and completely change how you understand progress.
Later, you begin to understand deeper mechanics such as combos and their real impact.
This is why many players feel that the game becomes harder. In reality, it becomes more complex.
